MY OVER OCEANS IN 2 DAYS EXPERIENCE WITH QATAR♡♡

I had such a beautiful experience i would say but beautifil does not seem to say it all… Travelling ev3n on transit can be such an adventure.. Okey this was ma first time flying with Qatar remended by friends and well my sister gave me a go attitude for it so i said why not.. So All the way from Cyprus to Istanbul was great as always and then my flight to Doha,Qatar now that one a was abit terrified all alon3 with no one i know..another first.. But i put that brave look all through the flight, luckily the att3ndants were nice too. Arrivi lng at Doha a kept reading the information boards found my way through got myself to the transfer desk thanlful for this being an English speaking situation because i have been on the end of a non english speaking desk and it unnerves me.. Ohh well i got my hotel voucher for Concorde Hotel, then my way through to the immigration and out i skeemed the place for a sign of someone holding a poster with the hotels name..a gentleman looked at me and asked to see my voucher he greeted me politely like he knew me(aweed)and requested i seat by the waiting lounger for thebtransport. When it arrived we left for the hotel i had a nice sight seeing moment and i was taken back it is such a beauty, arriving at the hotel the lady at th3 desk who was also friendly took my voucher and gave me a room and requested i dine before 11 which i was looking foward to ..i soo wanted to try their cuisines so bad and yes because i have a food heart like that(guilty😅😂) i went and settled inn came down for dinner and i have one word for the buffet”SPECTACULAR” in a breathtaking way OMG they had quite a variety at the buffet and i realised a strong cuisine differentisl taste i guess its a signature taste. Enjoyed the meal and i got to look arround the magnificient hotel. Had a hot tab bath n some good sleep ready to fly the next morning. I would soo  recomend anyone visiting Doha to see to it that they have been there -Details http://www.concordedoha.com or email at info@concordedoha.com .. Their services where lovlie wokeup and off to the airport the shuttle services being helpful. I cheked inn again and was ready to go home now . It was such a beautiful experience i soo did not regret non of it.. Personaly i have a height phobia but Qatar made me forget a was even on air ..smooth and with all these friendly attendance. It made me feel safe and at home. THANKS YOU and until next time QATAR…

GHOST WRITTEN

Mama

That special woman in my life. She has always been around, my memories –the good (she secretly got me  my first phone even when dad didn’t want me to have  one then!)and bad (Eeeer, really bad…), have her hovering on the background like a guardian angel. She is such a special part in my life, and this piece just won’t do but I’ll try to present what a bomb she is!

Mama likes to talk- a lot. As a child I’d use phrases that my fellow kids had never heard of ‘chonde chonde’ ‘niwie radhi’ and the like which is very courteous language. And in school I did not suffer much in deciphering statements in books and exams. When we’d go out shopping- yes, she is that type of mother who would like to have a say at what I wear which was always less than her ability to bargain; she bargains even when something is being sold at the cheapest price. Her theory is ‘it can always be cheaper!’ woe unto you if you pretend to pay before she gets her head straight  number wise, goods will be returned I tell you!!

I like her talk; topics are always so variant, ooh and so much umbea! She willingly updates me from street stories- the watchman’s wife just had another child! Or someone has added a ridiculously high speed bump near our gate! Or Your aunts keep calling asking about my welfare, soon they ‘ll request money, Psssht God knows what for this time?’ Whatever her story is I get caught up in it. In my years of innocence I use to listen by silently and of course have more questions in my head. I was a child- you listen, nod and must take mam’s side of the story: if she is sympathizing, I would as well; if she is in contempt, mine had to double- for effect.

Fast forward to my adult me: I work and live out of town, something mama accepted a bit too joyously – something to do with how long I had stayed at home job hunting! Three days after I report at my duty station, I start getting whatsapp messages pinging in as if on a crash diet… ‘this house is so big, do you think I should suggest to your dad we move to an apartment?’ ‘ who will fold all this laundry you left behind?’ ‘send me pictures of your office…at lunch break (smiley face)’ ‘when I call it doesn’t go through, but you get all my whatsapps, au sio?’ *deep sigh* SOMEONE TAKE MY MOTHER TO THE MOON FOR AN HOUR!!

Yes, with all kids gone- work and school, the house is suddenly huge (it really is not!), AND she would never move out into an apartment like she wishes, why else did the husband and her build a house! As for my laundry, really…she never ventures into the girls room on the worst of days, how, why and when did she spot this mountain of fabric begging for a fold session!? Don’t get me started on the lousy service reception at my work place, something I have told her over and over….still am.

But since we have no space station in my country, nor in the neighboring one- mama stays. At the beginning I tried to respond diplomatically; it takes heart and more words myself. Now when we meet it’s as though we are in a talking context- I too try to show there is so much happening in my life YET I do not let her on all of it cause then there would be less time in a day!

I truly love her, always have…I see her in me and I love me all the more, I understand how I too take over talk and I try to tune it a notch lower. Love these mothers as they are… who knows what goes on in

their heads -and hearts, half of the time. It could be her deja vu from way  back when she was 10 and had just got a new BFF…

Ok too much talking from me and my world of imagination.

MY 5 AMAZING LOOKS & DUAL”s ON THE OSCARS RED CARPET

So with the OSCAR”s having happened, everyone is on about how the whole fashion world was brought out there. here are my favorites

RITA ORA

I THINK SHE LOOKED AMAZING WITH THE LONG BLACK DRESS WITH THE SLIGHT GOLD SHADE THAT MATCHED HER HAIR AND THE NUDE BOLD POUT. I THINK SHE LOOKED STUNNING AND YES BLACK IS STILL ON,SO ON!!

KERRY  WASHINGTON

Okey i think i agree with HUFF STYLE that Kerry Washington”s look could t have been the most comfortable look of the night. She has always wow”d the crowd and once again in this strapless peplum gown she looked amazing and her makeup looked as natural so did her hair side kept. just adorable and simple.

JENNIFER LOPEZ

Despite the Music artist and actress too, J-lo and the famous Robert Duvall”s wife Luciana Pedraza appeared for the Oscars in the same gown, from my point of view i think  Jennifer Lopez wore it best the ball gown with a v-neck that fit her cleavage and yes great minds think alike and dress alike too i guess. Talk about beauty!!

ROSAMUND PIKE

I will so much start with the idea it is red, i mean red is known to be sexy and red on a red carpet should be the shit!! Well i think its bold and the hills and the rose design for the dress blend and the easy makeup even makes it sassy and easy. its a Yes for me

IRINA SHAYK

Okey i will stick to the back view that i fell in love with more, well the front is both a wow factor and a death one like damn!! But as i was saying i think it looked daring and i believe that is what every woman should be,fierce and daring(its a cold world out there). i loved the fact it was red and i loved the side see through well some might say too daring but hey she looked awesome

   Now my DUALs

DAKOTA JOHNSON AND MOTHER MELANIE GRIFFITH

Being a great 50 shades fun, holdup fun is not enough i am a sick fun from the book by E.L James to the movie,i would go on and on like OMG!! it is Jamie Dornan we talking about

Speaking of which she came with her mom as a plus one which was awesome and after 50 shades i would think my mom would house bound me just to save us both the embarrassment so i though this amazing, though the Mom made it clear she has not watched the famous film yet, totally explains a lot.

But anyway I thought Dakota looked lovely and impressing i love the side slit and the silver strap and how she wore her hair.

I loved the fact she brought her mom as her plus one.

CHANNING TATUM AND WIFE JENNA DEWAN-TATUM

I am a great one among the million girls that would watch a tittle less movie as long as Chaning Tatum is i  it. So him wearing that fine black Tuxedo ,fine shoes and the bow tie just adds up to the one million reasons he is just too fine. Accompanied by his lovely wife who also looked amazing in her plunging white dress her clutch and jewelry adding up to the look. Amazing.

JOHN LEGEND AND WIFE CHRISSY TEIGEN

The power couple looked dazzling. John in his Tax and bow tie, whats with men and tuxedos is it just me or they look devine, anyway and our dear Chrissy rocking that frozen blue colored dress with killer cleavage and with sparkles and pearls on the dress and a sexy slit on the side front exposing her legs and the shoe being comfortable yet adorable and the red lipstick  complimenting it, It was a yes and matched the saying “DRESSED TO IMPRESS”

I totally would agree the dressing itself added up to the chances  of John walking home with an award a mean,a woman”s dressing is a blessing too hey!! I am just saying.

UNTIL NEXT TIME,

XOXO

DREAMS AND AMBITIONS

Every dream started with an idea, later wrote down on a precious piece of paper, From the Politics to the Economy, the quotes used and numbers displayed all started from a paper, From music lyrics to a movie script, From the very romantic William Shakespeare to the ideologist Karl Marx all there philosophical and literate ideas were a profound of a paper and a pen. Dreams we have someday turn to reality thanks to A Pen and Piece of Paper.
